Interfaith Prayer service for Garissa victims

Kenya United in mourning

Dear Kenyans,

As we are all aware, on Thursday April 2, 2015, al-Shabab gunmen stormed the Garissa University College in Kenya, where they proceeded to murder 147 people [148 according to some sources] in cold blood. Many others were injured, some critically.

Our country is in mourning and so are many of us as we try to comprehend the unnecessary colossal loss of life. This coming Sunday April 12th 2015, we would like Kenyans from all walks of life to join us at the Consolota Missionaries Center for an ecumenical prayers service for the victims of Garissa University College attack. This is an all-encompassing service regardless of one’s religion or faith.

Ecumenical Prayer Service Time 1:00 PM
Location: 2671 Islington Avenue, Toronto

The various community leaders are requested to cascade this note to their members.

Thanks and Regards,

Kenyan Community Leaders
