John Nzoberi Munio [1992 – 2023] death announcement
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of John Nzoberi [(Inzoberi) Munio of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. John passed away on December 15, 2023, in a tragic traffic accident.
John was preceded in death by his father Robert Munio. He will be lovingly remembered and cherished by many including his wife Grace Nasanga and daughter Zawadi Nzoberi; his mother Floridah Abengwe; his siblings Irene Indusa, Maureen Shihafu, Linet Lihavi, Jayden Mukwata; Anita Wambui, Mercy Wangechi, Allan Ikua and Abigael Njoki; among many other relatives.
John is an alumnus of the United States International University (USIU) – Africa. As he was growing roots in Canada, he had plans to pursue a master’s degree in conflict management.
John was an active member of our community and known for his generous nature. He was a ray of sunshine and a hand of hope in the lives of everyone he met. He devoted his life to building inclusive, peaceful communities, helping others, and advocating for change.
John’s courtesy, kindness, and generosity were not just traits but the essence of who he was. His loss creates a void in our family and community and will be greatly missed.
A service to celebrate John’s life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Chad’s Anglican Church {Ahadi Ministry}, 1695 Dufferin St, Toronto, ON M6E 3N9 at 1pm.
John will be buried in Webuye, Bungoma County, Kenya on February 3, 2024. Well-wishers can contribute to the funeral expenses and support for the family through e-transfer to:
