Kenyan woman in Cuba thanks all who chipped in financially so she can go back home after graduation

Good day to everyone,

I hope you are all doing well and so are your families. Cuba gets hotter by the day but I am doing okay. Yesterday evening I took some time and thought of the possibilities that would have been my present if I never got your response when I sent out my cry for help. There are days I find it hard to believe that you who have no relations with me, have been so selfless and have done your best to aid in my situation. Words that I write today will never express fully the depth of gratitude that I feel within me for all that you did for me.

God knows I never saw this coming and now that I will be going home, thanks to Him using all of you and the other online donors; all I sing each time I look at my ticket is an endless thank you. I am doing my countdown to the D-day and most times it feels like a dream. My doors have now been opened to bigger responsibilities and you have all enabled that in one way or another. I promise that this is not the last you have heard of me. As long as God gives all of us life, you will get to hear of me sometime and I will see to it that each time that happens, you get the confirmation that you made the right choice helping me.

I wish you all the best in this life full of surprises, may you have a blessed time and thank you once again. As the Cubans would say: “Muchisimas gracias y Dios les bendiga”. i.e Thank you very much and may God bless you all.
