Memorial fund for Hannah Ngina Mbugua, Kenyan student killed in road accident in Nova Scotia
We are devastated to share the news that Hannah Ngina Mbugua, aged 23, passed away on the night of Sunday August 8th 2021 in Halifax, NS following a tragic car accident. Hannah, originally from Nairobi, Kenya was a student attending Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with an expected graduation date of May 2022.
Hannah was a bright spark in this world with a huge heart and we will surely miss her. She was a dear daughter to Charles Kimari & Helena Mbugua, sister to Kenneth Mbugua, Gavin Mbugua & Carson Mbugua and loving friend to many who she touched with a smile that would light up the room.
Kemunto Ogoti has organized a fundraiser to support Ngina’s loved ones with preparation and funeral costs as they navigate through this tragedy. Fortunately, some of these costs have been offset by insurance but there is still some outstanding balance. Donations will go directly to Ngina’s family to help facilitate funeral and memorial services which include transporting the body to her home in Nairobi, Kenya. Other costs include a return ticket for her younger brother Gavin and support travel companion, etc.
Please consider any form of support and donate: https://www.gofundme.com/f/hannah-ngina-mbugua-memorial-fund?qid=d3d7240b739f061f4f4321086f43740d
